Ordered two of these to protect two scooters. At first I thought of disc locks with an alarm but found that the price for two locks was prohibitive. So I bought two of these and two padlock alarms and as a result of the transaction I spent significantly less than an alarm disc lock. So I added two layers of security instead of one and I can use one without the other and also hide the alarm locks somewhere on my scooters where they can't be seen, easily cut or hacked. These disc locks are heavy. , durable and easy to turn on and off. The reminder cord is bright orange and well made, and the tote cases are sturdy and match the locks perfectly. They also come with a nice Velcro closure. Pretty good deal and highly recommended.
