The lock won't open.

DO NOT BUY THIS LOCK! with it to open it. And it regularly takes a few turns of the key and fumbling to open it. Sure, it wasn't terribly inconvenient, but what if the lock fails and I can't get it open? I just don't want to risk that scenario. Especially when I can get a similar lock from Kryptonite for about the same price. This lock is going in the trash.

Good disc holder in the brake pads

Ordered two of these to protect two scooters. At first I thought of disc locks with an alarm but found that the price for two locks was prohibitive. So I bought two of these and two padlock alarms and as a result of the transaction I spent significantly less than an alarm disc lock. So I added two layers of security instead of one and I can use one without the other and also hide the alarm locks somewhere on my scooters where they can't be seen, easily cut or hacked. These disc locks are heavy.

Can't beat it (for the price)

I have a 2007 Ninja 250 and it fits the disc perfectly. There is about 3/4 inch between the washer and the end of the slot in the lock when I let it hang straight down. Feels very durable. Getting it to unlock was difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easy. A few reviewers have mentioned that they had trouble picking the lock after being exposed to the elements for a while, so I sprayed the keyhole with WD40 and did it from time to time to protect it from rusting. I…

the locking mechanism is jammed!

I purchased this product in October 2014 and ended up using it on a trip to Colorado in July 2015! I've ridden over 1700 miles and tried it for the first time. It got stuck at first, but eventually I unlocked it. The second time it got stuck and my bike became unusable. I contacted the manufacturer and they couldn't help me. I had to break the plastic case off, but after an hour of work I was able to remove it. My son and I will never use this product again. If the locking mechanism is stuck…

"Reliable " investment

My BMW 650GS recently relocated from Northern California to San Francisco. Needless to say there are some bad guys in the neighborhood so I ordered a Trimax for extra containment. Pros: The lock is a good weight as it is hardened metal, fits the bike well although I am not currently using it. for the occasion when he came. Cons: It's not the brightest thing in the world, so be careful if you're not using a reminder cable. The keys that come with it appear to be hollow plastic for the end of the

Do not buy Trimax T665LC

Bought the Trimax T665LC lock on the 6th July and have already returned it. I couldn't use it more than 5-7 times before it expired. I was happy with its looks but the cylinder lock mechanism sucks. I had this on my Suzuki GSXR trying to get to work on a Monday morning (yes, a great way to start the week). The key didn't go all the way into the lock, it just turned freely. mug needles? inside the lock - the broken part of this lock. It took me 5-10 minutes to pull the key out of the lock and…

Block but don't forget

Works well. However, it does not go through the holes on the rotor itself, but attaches by passing it through the rotor mount. I've been using them every day for the last 3 months, 3800 miles. Once I tried to ride a bike without taking them off. WOW, I forgot I had them on! A good way to break my bike, so I thought: Nothing happened to the bike or the rotor, which I was very worried about. I didn't light it or try to accelerate hard, I just pushed to move from one place. The only criticism is…

Does what it claims to do for your bike

I was surprised to find this item. This gives you security and peace of mind. Of course, nothing stops someone who really wants to take something. But that gives the average thief pause, and only the steadfast will try to move on. Firstly, this product is small and can be carried in a pocket if desired. Second, it works like clockwork and without much hassle. This "protector" is placed on the brake disc and snapped into place. Then go. It's that simple. It attaches to your bike in a spot where…
