I'm rewriting this review because now I know what people meant when they complained about the lack of instructions. The cartridge on the Silca pump that I've used for many years is for Presta valves only. I have never used double lever cartridges. If CyclingDeal gave instructions, they would tell you to place the cartridge on the valve with the lever in the middle position. Then turn the lever away from the valve. When I slide the cartridge over the valve, air comes out the other end until you can turn the lever. I've tried twisting the lever one way or another hoping to close the escape route when I put the cartridge on the valve, but air always comes out. On my road bike I just need to build up pressure, but after the air is deflated the pressure drops to 50psi. I bought the Joe Blow at my local bike shop and I like the Joe Blow much better. Yes it is more expensive but the hassle is not worth the money I would save with CyclingDeal.
