Great blade for the money. Buy with confidence.

Professional chef for 15 years. Keep in mind that when you buy this knife, you're not getting a $600 piece made to order by a blacksmith man. But for the price you can't go wrong. I received the cleaver, the workmanship is excellent, the razor arrived sharp, with no defects on the edge. I like the idea of the aus10v, it's not as heavy as the vg-10 which is good for those looking for good utility knives that won't chip. (Don't get me wrong, the VG 10 lasts a long time but tends to chip under heavy use.) To be honest, for the $80 I paid for this knife, I have no complaints. I will use it and abuse it, throw it in my knife box and ignore it. Don't buy this and rate it like it's a custom made $600 Japanese blade. It's a $150 everyday knife, and $80 is a great deal. I will buy more of their knives and I will not regret it.
