While this is a really great hold, following the T instructions isn't always the best. You will need to work with it, become familiar with it, and use trial and error to determine which sway control setting for chain tension is best for the distribution. I tow an 8,000-pound camper with a 2021 F250 with an off-road package, as well as a truck-mounted camping snowplow package, and I'm surprised by how much the roughly 850-pound tongue weight lowers the bumper. If I try to set the distribution to around the level I get a pretty good effect. I find that it works much better when the drawbar is lowered a bit and the load on the rear axle is greater.
