Review on Phanteks Enthoo PH ES719LTG_DBK01 Performance Tower by Jeremy Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Probably the best case I've ever had.

Since 1997 I have been building computers for myself and others. I have owned and assembled many, many consumer and commercial cases. Some were better than others. Some of them were outstanding while others I threw out the windows. (yes, I had a dubious pleasure) There have been some amazingly good computer products on the market in the last ten years, and cases are indeed the case. Some of my favorites were from Lian Li, Coolermaster, Corsair, Antec, Supermicro and a few others whose names I can't even remember. I recently attempted to build a new drilling rig. I've had a lot of issues with many parts of this new build and I've done my homework. I threw away 3 different builds before getting the one I'm using now. It's a great setup that I'm very happy with. One of the best things is The Case. That's great. Build quality is excellent, especially for the price. This is a large, roomy case designed for OEMs. This is a very simple case with enough space for two systems. There are opportunities to do this as the case has room for a secondary power supply and room for another (small) motherboard. It has its own fan hub built into the case so you can easily plug in the motherboard and just plug in the CPU cooler and heatsink fans. I don't know much about RGB, but it has very nice adjustable RGB lighting built right in and doesn't need to be plugged into anything other than your power supply. Fear not, you can plug it into the RGB connector on almost any modern motherboard, or opt for a separate RGB hub. Their cooling capabilities are simply enormous. The amount of fans and heatsinks you can cram into this beast is incredible. This housing is fully filtered and the filters are easy to access and clean when needed. A good plus since many of today's cases don't get it right. Many options for horizontal and vertical mounting of PCIE cards. Tolerances are good, I had no trouble getting the material lined up correctly. Another great thing about this case is all the extra hardware, screws, fasteners, etc. that they ship to you. You will receive a small box with a bunch of beautifully crafted and anodized screws and accessories. You also get 4 adjustable locking bays for 3.5" drives. You also get a very nice steel anchor mount for large, heavy graphics cards. It actually has a very high quality and useful instruction manual. Everything comes in a sturdy, monster-sized box with extra-large, thick foam shock absorbers that suspend the entire body. There are a few extra crates that will hold all of your extra goodies. The case also has its own anti-static dust cover. If you're serious about computers and want a serious case that won't disappoint, I recommend the Phanteks Enthoo 719.
