My son who before buying a coat explained that he didn't need it because he was always hot. He went outside when a hooded coat or a heavy sweater was needed. Typical early to mid fall weather in New York City. He once told me that he was still cold when he wore the coat, so I don't know how warm this coat can be when it gets really cold. 😐 My son is 11 years old, 100 pounds, 4 inches 11 feet. I feel comfortable when I wear it. I'm 5 inch 4 foot female pounds lol. I ordered this size so he can use it for next winter. It's big but looks good. Three stars while waiting for the coldest day.
