My Black & Decker Weed Eater and Blower uses genuine #HPV18 18V NiCd batteries which only have a capacity of around 2000mAh and last around 15 minutes. It always upsets me because what's done in 15 minutes? It always ended on me before I could finish it. So I had to choose either the front yard or the back yard, I couldn't do both. When the battery died I had no intention of replacing it with another NiCad. I found these 3500mah NI-MH batteries and they advertise that they will work with my tools and original charger, which they do! They charge with the original charger and are perfect for my tools. Some reviews say they fit snug but not for me...they fit perfectly. Now I can do the front and back yard with ONE battery! They last over 30 minutes. How nice to have two batteries! It's a package deal, comes with two batteries, work gloves and a socket tester, all for the price of an original nickel cadmium battery! What offer! I am very happy.
