I was looking for a simple and affordable router for my office to replace my ISP's router. My friend recommended the N150 router to me for its price and open source compatibility. He said open-source communities are developing new software or firmware that could add additional functionality to the router. I haven't searched the forums for what's available for this router. But for now it seems I don't need to update this router as I haven't had any issues so far. Installation went smoothly, I was able to connect my laptops and tablets in minutes.
