Can solve Raspberry Pi's current drain problem

I use this with my Raspberry Pi model B (regular B, not +). I set jumpers so the Pi never powers the USB ports (see other reviews). In the past, when using a hub with a different power supply, I have experienced reboots where the drives spin up after a period of sleep, possibly due to a temporary excess current draw. This hub with this configuration seems to have solved my problem. This hub, which in turn connects to my Pi, had two hard drives (spinning disk type) connected for about two weeks without incident.
