I ordered gray because they are good for my feet and floor. First thing I did was look for the bumps left by the weaving process and trimmed them down anyway. only one "drop of yarn" found. it was actually a light grey. At $7.99 for a set of 2, this is a great value. If it's heavier, the cotton will absorb too much water. lighter and it would be thin/slippery. Since they were made in Pakistan, they were at least handmade. and probably in low light. [Disclaimer: I have handwoven several small projects in my life and could not justify them alone due to the cost of materials. not to mention preparation and time.] Will I buy again? Definitive. I'll try to test durability after a few dozen washes. (**This review has been edited for typos.)
