You can't go wrong with Lodge

Uniform heat. Difficult! But it's easy to clean and lasts forever. Some are made here. Some are made in China to their standards. Everyone has their own ideas about how to clean cast iron. I follow the lodge guide. You will pass them on to your grandchildren in excellent condition. Even Heat Makes Cooking Better I've cooked 1000 meals using Lodge pans. The Dutch Oven is suitable for many things. I no longer use the multi-cooker. Excellent customer service for any questions. A ribbed square pan makes steaks better than grilling if you know what to do. Some of the best steaks and burgers I've ever made and no 'complimentary customer (family and friends)' ever said the food was terrible. Better if you have a gas stove. I even use some of their products for outdoor grilling. I use them to make bread, Chinese dumplings, pot stickers, roast duck and chicken. I recommend buying the whole set TOGETHER with Dalstrong knives.

Pros
  • FAMILY-OWNED cast iron. Lodge is more than just a shop; this is family. The Lodge family founded the company in 1896 and has owned it ever since. From environmental stewardship to community development, their minds and hearts are rooted in America.
Cons
  • Some problems
