I've tried sooooo many brands of boots and nothing but my ugly shameful Crocs make my feet feel good. (wolverene, redwing, RW iron rangers, danners, timberland pro.)I'm a farmer so I go from shop concrete with lots of squatting, to field work with mud and ditches, to climbing in and out of equipment all day. When i stand on concrete with any other boots for more than 10min the arch of my feet start killing me and eventually they'll strain a muscle and I limp for a week. These boots have solved that completely and I'll never buy another none wedge sole again. I just spent hours out in the shop and my feet feel fine. That wouldn't have been possible with my old boots without sitting some, lots of feet kicking to do nothing but point attention my feet hurt and boots suck, and just overall pain. It's yet to be proven if it's the wedge that is helping or if thorogood the boot doing it. For the price I have to try a cheaper wedge next(which may be a mistake) but for $250+ these boots are way over priced for the quality. The leather, while being soft, is ugly and wrinkly. the fitment is average. I only bought these because I didn't want a white sole and these were about the only option.Overall super comfortable and so far are holding up just fine after a few months of use. I just have to figure out something for the winter with some insulation and hope these boots last 2+ years to justify the cost premium over most other work boots for those who wear them out quickly.
