I lost coolant around the water outlet and finally found it was coming from this hose. The end of the hose (plastic) breaks at the water outlet and causes loss of coolant. You will need to use a flat head or small tool to pry the frayed/broken piece out of the plastic part it is connected to to complete the repair. Many people say this is a common problem for the Chevy Cruze. WARNING: The dealer is asking a lot of money for this simple fix, so be careful. Do it yourself! It took about 15-20 minutes after the engine cooled down.
