Review on 🔌 Gates K070975 Micro-V Serpentine Drive Belt: Superior Performance and Durability for Optimal Power Transmission by Terry Myers

I will change this belt together with the belt tensioner at the end of December 2020. The strap fitted well, but just ten months later, in September 2021, I had to replace it. I changed the oil today and found the belt has snapped horribly and needs to be replaced ASAP. See attached photo. I ordered a replacement from a local parts store that costs almost twice as much but has a three-year warranty. At the wear rate, I would have to change it four times in three years. I wouldn't rate this as value for money, plus it can leave you roadside. Maybe old stock?
