I've had multiple scorches! torches in my time. They were exquisite in look and feel, but when it came to durability, they were a hit. Some of them just stop working after a very short time. But I can't resist playing this game over and over again because they are so beautifully made. This one still wears the crown for beauty, feel and function. I really like that there is a traditional flint ignition instead of the clicking electric spark lighters made these days. It's quiet and always works. The only criticism I would like to make and that applies to all Scorch models! Craft, is that the only mechanism to adjust the intensity of the flame requires the use of a screwdriver to turn the fuel valve clockwise or counterclockwise to turn the flame up or down. This is an adjustment that's not easily done on the fly, unless you carry a small screwdriver with you wherever you take your lighter. That slight inefficiency in design aside, I give this lighter a solid 5 star rating and would highly recommend it to users who like a bit of class when heating this glass. 😋
