I liked it. I'm quite a discerning buyer and was deeply impressed by it. Judging by the photos I was a bit concerned that the large center piece would be made of MDF but it was solid wood. Beautifully painted, very well made. I've seen a few reviews about the game's elements not meshing, but it looks like a classic and very nice game. So I think you should understand this when buying. It's perfect for my 7 year old, but if you're playing with toddlers or young children who will abuse it then it's probably best to just go to a big store and buy a plastic game. I personally like the tote bag. That was one of the qualities that attracted me to this set. The plastic version from the big box store comes with a very thin box that doesn't hold up at all. As a result, we lost a lot of game chips. This came with a plastic bag for these in-game items and they fit nicely in a velcro bag once you've packed them. I had no problems with the crossbar below. However, you must push it in all the way. I can imagine that this is the only way (besides abuse) that can cause tokens to fall. It contains 20 red and blue tokens that fill all spaces on the game board.
