My cat can pull her arm out of the harness but the rest of her body is still securely in place. I took her for a walk the other day and she thought it was ok although it seems tight. Cats generally don't like being in harnesses, so I recommend leaving her around the harness for a few days and then only letting her wear the harness before taking her for a walk. The material of the straps could be better, on hot days it looks like it will cause sweat and itching.
