Looks good but needs milling to fit
I have made sure this lock is the perfect size for the lock I am looking to replace. The dimensions and position of the screw holes were identical. However, I found two problems. The strike plate was shorter than the original. It doesn't look great, but it doesn't matter. However, the internal mechanism moves back a quarter of an inch when closed. So when I installed the lock and tried to close it, I couldn't. The latch has not been completely removed. To do this I had to take a Dremel and cut out a significant portion of the door down to the screw holes to allow the lock to retract.
