My main requirement for a set of measuring cups was that the cup and handle be one piece (so many pens fall off over the years - even quite expensive ones!). They have nice long handles and they all sit flat except for the 1/8 cup. They have a perfectly flat joint at the junction of the mug and handle, making it easy to align what you are measuring. You are a good weight. The measuring spoons in this set are really good too - they're a good weight, they have a smooth bowl and handle connection, and they're narrow enough to be dipped into most spice jars, even a tablespoon! As a lifelong chef/chef, I'm not easily impressed by kitchenware, but they are exceptional and well worth the price.
