Review on 🐦 Zilla Reptile Terrarium Lighting & Heat Mini Dome by Lauren Marley

I love the size and quality of these domes. I bought 10 in the last year. They work great with 25w and 50w zilla heat lamps. If you have a smaller tank and don't need as much heat, you can use 25W and paint the bottom black to reduce the heat. I recently bought 2 short tanks for 2 small king snakes. The heat emanating from 25w bulbs was in the high 90s. I needed closer to 80*. I used Krylon Black Enamel spray paint on the chrome reflector and it brought the temperature down to just over 80C*. Reinstall tape and screws. super easy. If you have little fingers you can probably just do this with duct tape and spray paint. My king snakes seem happier with this drop in temperature. I highly recommend the heat gun. It opened my eyes to the pace I was blind to. My snakes love me more now.
