Very cheap unknown metal. But hay, it is copper plated, as if that helps.

Cheap worthless pot metal. Went on okay, but broke when taking it off to change battories. Very thin around post connecrion. Unknown metal that I can break off pieces off with a pair of pliers.

Excellent product. Works well.

Cons

The switch may be prone to rust and corrosion if exposed to moisture
