I've been using this product for a few years now and the cheese keeps much better and longer than in plastic bags or foil. However, I have to say that cheese (also semi-hard cheese) is not stored in it for an unreasonably long time, cheese can mold in this packaging and then the packaging can no longer be used and must be disposed of. Paper bags are easy to use, just put the cheese inside, fold the bag to seal everything inside and chill. They're pretty durable too, more so than the brown cheese bags I've used in the past. I bought several sets of these cheese bags to give to my adult children. Cheese doesn't sweat in bags when stored in the fridge, and it doesn't release moisture like plastic bags do. I'm happy with them.
