TL; DR: Once it works, it works great! Use a USB hub, use good software (I recommend Cyberlink PowerDVD) or be prepared for a lot of free software like VLC, be prepared to restart your computer if necessary and forego the setting the PowerDVD refresh rate. ------- -------------- What was meant to be a quick setup turned into a full day of troubleshooting. Initially, when the drive was plugged into the motherboard USB port, it would repeatedly go to sleep when playing media using Cyberlink PowerDVD 16. I emailed the seller and he responded quickly and recommended using a USB hub. This worked for a Blu-ray disc that used the AACS standard, but the disc that used the BD+ standard would not play audio from my TV/surround sound system. After trying to install a different audio driver, my PC system no longer recognizes the sound from my TV/surround sound system. Almost on the edge of my mind and particularly frustrated with audio driver issues, I rebooted my computer. After resetting and reinstalling PowerDVD, everything worked great after I declined PowerDVD's offer to adjust my device's refresh rate. Now that everything is working I am very happy with the performance of this disc!
