Review on Lion 640-123E Wool-Ease Thick & Quick Yarn: 97 Meters of Oatmeal Softness! by Kristen Simpson

I bought 4 skeins of this yarn to knit a scarf for my nephew who goes to cold countries. It is written that it is "soft", but in reality it is prickly. I knitted a scarf and ran it through the washing machine and it held up great but it's still itchy! There are stars for the washing quality. I don't know how long I can wear it without tearing it off. If you knit a sweater with it, you need to wear something underneath. I will knit another scarf from "softer" wool. If the product touches the skin then it really should be much softer than this wool product.
