Better than port mirroring on a managed switch.
Works as advertised! So far I've only used Wired Tap and haven't had to try USB. This is the only good way to debug LLDP issues. Many managed switches do not mirror LLDP link-local packets or only show one direction of LLDP traffic. But this sniffer shows both and works great!
- Test Access Port allows you to view packets over an Ethernet connection. Supports 10, 100 or 1000Base-T channels directly.
