Review on LEAGY External Sound Card 8 Channel by Charles Phillips

I bought this sound card because I thought it could capture 2 channel audio from 2 separate microphones. Unfortunately it mixes 2 microphone inputs into one channel. It never claimed 2-channel audio recording to be honest, but I wish there was a button to toggle between mixing the mic inputs and splitting for 3D audio recording. The audio quality isn't the best, but it can be used. Buttons on this sound card enable microphone muting and volume control. Strangely, the volume buttons briefly bring the on-screen volume meter to 100% before reverting to the new up/down setting. The volume itself does not increase. I like that this sound card greatly expands the possibilities of small portable computers by offering many additional connections and surround sound options. The driver is difficult to install as it only comes on a CD and requires a sound card to be connected. During the installation. This means you need an external CD drive and if your computer is similar to my tablet and only has 1 USB port, you need to copy the driver files to your computer first. All in all, this sound card comes in handy when you need its features.
