Review on 💻 Coolgear USB 3.0 4-Port Industrial Hub: Metal Case | Screw Lock Cable Option | High-Speed Data Transfer by Justin Butler

This is a beautifully designed hub. Metal body, latches for mounting under the table, generally good strong fittings. Unfortunately I can't say more about it. There is a hardware issue with this hub that causes my 2015 Mac Pro to keep warning me about excessive power consumption, and then the computer quickly turns off whatever devices I have connected to it. Looking at the manual it looks like the manufacturer knows about it! I'm not sure why they shipped a product with such a problem. For a $55 center, this is a little disappointing. I replaced it with a regular Revain Basics USB 3.0 hub and haven't had any problems since.
