So I bought this knife because I wanted to quickly make the fries for the hamburgers I make every week (I got the Bob's Burger cookbook for Christmas which is full of great recipes) and up The thing worked right away without any complaints, but after repeated use the blades warped and broke at some point when cutting potatoes. The product itself is also poorly designed. A potato cutter pressed against a flat surface didn't make a full cut, in fact every time I used the damn thing it had to pull the potato out the last quarter inch or so. When the potato chunks broke off inside I had to pry the chunks out with a tool (not included) and with the tool there was a risk of cutting myself on sharp edges, which I did. several times (I've never cut so many times with a simple kitchen utensil). Right now I'm returning this product and getting my money back and I'll probably spend that on a really nice set of knives so I can cut the fries to the size I like. For those of you wondering how the curvature came about, it got worse with every cut. I pushed the handles down and the blades buckled.
