Lasted just over a year
I bought these just over a year ago. About a month ago one of them started shutting down for no apparent reason. Did another one today. I changed the batteries but they still fail. Dust blown out, same problem. I have other types and they are ok. I hate broken smoke detectors because I worry that I just can't smell what the detector is picking up. In this case, it was two different rooms, so I'm pretty sure it's the detector.
