Review on πŸ‹οΈ High-Strength 3 Ton Ratchet Puller with 35 Feet of 5/16 Inch Amsteel Blue Rope by Jason Nguyen

Terrible color...literally TERRIBLE

I expect this puller to be amazing. Lots of good reviews and testimonials online. I've already used it to push a 3500lb shipping container to line up with another. The container probably has 1000-1500 pounds more stuff in it. Although the floor is smooth concrete, that may have made it a little lighter. At the moment I have no other use for it than this. The purpose of writing this review today was my post-processing experience. It literally crumbled in my hands and stained them. It's almost impossible to remove with a harsh hand cleaner, so I had to resort to chemicals. I was just trying to undo the latches so I could reel the cord back in after I was done. The process itself was a little tedious as there is no easy way to lock the latches, allowing you to just spin the wheel without straining it. You can push the farthest locking lever toward the handle, and then while holding it, push the handle back to release the secondary locking lever... but the cable needs to have constant tension as the line is reeled in, and that Cable needs to be routed a bit or it all rolls sloppy and sloppy. It's actually a two-man operation. Needless to say, and you can see it in my photo, the paint has worn off everywhere. The serrations and latches are completely peeled off with paint... and I don't mean chipped off. It almost melted like an uncured rattle can paint. It's unbelievable that these guys would use such a garbage wrap for something that needs so much handling, especially with such a high price point for a product. I have purchased discounted items from the store which have a more durable finish.

Cons
