Review on Fermtech Regular Deluxe Siphoning Auto by Bryan Fields

This is MUCH better than trying to suck out a length of hose to start the siphon. The fill widget is pretty good too. Everything in this set is efficient, efficient and clean. I currently ferment 5 gallon buckets but bought a longer siphon kit thinking I might need one someday. In retrospect, that was a mistake. I've used this twice and already managed to break a long tube. It's not a big deal because the crack is down the middle of the pipe and you only need about three inches of soil to be airtight for the pump to work. A few short hits below the break level and it works fine. But it would be nice to have a stronger outer tube. Otherwise I should have bought a shorter kit and reduced the risk.
