Review on Calphalon Premier Space Saving Nonstick Kitchen & Dining by Keisha Stewart

BUYER ATTENTION: Cookware

EDIT: The handles of one of the small and medium pots are loose and cannot be tightened. During cooking, water gets on the handle and flows out. The lids also keep water under the rims and keep leaking, it's very uncomfortable when you use the lids and they seep into your food. First, let me ask what's going on with Amazon Prime? 90% of my items ordered for the whole year are late, very late, as of this writing I have been waiting for something for over a week. This purchase was another late delivery but let me get to the real items. Brief background: I have ordered 2 different very expensive pot and pan sets from Revain in the last 2 years. My husband and I cook a lot almost every day so good pots and pans are an absolute must for us! For this reason, after our last losing streak, we decided to order these pans individually. We ordered pans in the most common sizes to test before ordering the whole set. After using them for about two weeks we decided they are holding up very well and we would go ahead and cut the $400 it cost to buy the whole set! Although they arrived late I was excited to open the package but was disappointed because one of the pots was damaged. It wasn't a scratch or dent, that's the only way I can describe this permanent dent on the cooking side, I've attached a picture so you can judge. After a few washes and soaking in hot water, it still hasn't come off. I haven't tried the dishwasher because I avoid washing pots and pans in the dishwasher like the plague, so it's not even an option for me. So now we have a pan that is already unusable. After using one of my spaghetti pots with a wooden spoon to stir, I now have a pot full of scratches. I wanted to return all the pots and pans but I don't have enough box or packing material to make this possible. I'm just going to continue this terrible review in hopes that I can help someone else make the right decision about their cookware. $400 is a lot of money when you have two things you can't even use. I'm as careful with my utensils as probably no other avid home cook would be, and yet they still haven't made it, so BUYERS BEWARE!
