Ideal for rack mounting anywhere.
Bought to install an air conditioner under the table for studio work and have another in case something else needs to be installed. The screws provided to actually drill the wood were too long so I had to use my own but that's not their fault. Even with the shorter bolts and sag, it feels very sturdy and is able to handle a decent amount of weight. I highly recommend this product.
