Review on Mopar 68235275AB Fuel Filter: Superior Filtering Efficiency for Enhanced Fuel Performance by Alan Estell

Just installed this Mopar diesel fuel filter on my 2016 Ram EcoDiesel ($32.10). This newer design is a major improvement over the previous OEM filter which may have been installed incorrectly and resulted in seal failure. The new one (Mopar 68235275AA) has a protective nylon sleeve around the filter to prevent bubbling and also has nylon guides to ensure the cartridge snaps into the housing and rotates perfectly on the threaded base. I used the "click in the case first" installation method. Some youtubers claim that you have to mount the cartridge on the threaded barrel before screwing the body. I looked at the cartridge and the Mopar box it came in and saw nothing to indicate it was fake.
