I bought this filament just to print lithophane. This brand and style was recommended by a few different Litophan sites so I decided to give it a try. I tried printing at my normal PLA temperatures on my Direct Drive Artillery Genius (like the Sidewinder, only smaller). I was having tension, bleed and warping issues just trying to make some lithophane test prints. So I did what I usually do when a thread gives me trouble. I ran the temperature tower. I recommend doing this with any yarn that is being used for the first time. Turns out the 205C motor I run on most of my other PLAs was overheating. I finally settled on 185Β°C, which is the lowest temperature I've ever printed PLA at. After lowering the temperature all my problems with this filament disappeared and it printed test lithophane very well. It has good light transmission with a maximum thickness of 3mm and is very uniform. I would use this thread again for Lithophane.
