Review on Cricut Explore & Explore One: Upgraded with Wireless Bluetooth Adapter by Dave Hess

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Changed my life Cricut!

This handy little device has completely changed the way I scream. I have Cricut Explore, which of course meant my laptop was always plugged into my computer. I've argued for a long time about whether or not to buy this adapter because I really had no problem using my setup as is and maybe I was just a spoiled kid who wanted Bluetooth capability. I finally bought it and was completely spoiled for wireless freedom the very first time I used it! I never knew what I was missing! I was also very surprised at how easy it was to use. After reading some of the reviews I was prepared for the headache I had trying to connect and stay connected. However, I had no problems. I plugged it in and turned on Bluetooth on the laptop. It recognized the device immediately, connected to it and stayed that way until I turned it off. So now I have a Cricut Explore Air without the expense of switching to a new car! I will say that when connected via Bluetooth, the machine cuts a little slower. Not much slower, just a tiny bit, just enough to notice a small difference in speed. I don't really care, but maybe some people who have a craft business and are trying to get projects done quickly find this to be a problem. If I had to guess, I'd say you can lose about 5 minutes an hour crafting. (Just a guess, not a scientific or verified number) Oh! I also love that I can now use the Cricut mobile app on my tablet with my car. That wasn't even possible before. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't have an "air" car!
