Review on ✨ Shine & Print with HATCHBOX Sparkle PLA 3D Printer Filament by Kyle Mason

Clogs and breakable parts with 0.4mm nozzle

I wouldn't buy red glitter but someone just gave me an Ender 3 Pro out of nowhere and I had to do something urgently. Glitter was the only filament that was supposed to arrive in 2 days with Prime shipping, the rest was backordered. I printed several hose sections using high quality Creality settings and a 0.4mm nozzle. My build had two, one took 12 hours to print and the other around 45-50 hours depending on the settings. The smaller piece failed twice and the longer print failed four times. I woke up and checked the part to see that I was printing with air and the filament in the extruder was broken. I made a spool stand to pull the thread straight off the spool. When I finally had a print that came all the way through, I sealed one end and squeezed it and the air seeped through the entire surface. In terms of size, it was ok, but very full of holes. I ended up just breaking it in half as the fusion between the layers was weak. The smaller part is also torn. Since I used so much filament for this print, I pre-ordered the Hatchbox Black. I printed both parts in black and didn't have any of the previous editions. No blockages, no small thread balls in one piece. The part held the pressure normally. Black was also less stretchy. Hatchbox comes highly recommended and I would buy more solid colored threads from them in the future but no more shiny ones. I suspect that a larger nozzle is less prone to clogging, but I haven't got one yet. I put it in a vacuum desiccant bag for a rainy day.
