Dishwasher Safe
Ordered this item to replace the solid block of marble which we received as a wedding present 28 years ago. Wash in the dishwasher before sterilizing, slice a 5lb block of cheese and put back in the dishwasher to clean. After stepping out of the dishwasher for the second time, we noticed pitting on the marble. The heated water appears to have come into contact with the marble dust and glue used to fill in the pits and level the surface. Not a bad thing, just don't use the dishwasher for it. I order a side board cutter.
