The stone began to crumble after just a few uses. I've had it for over 6 months now. But I expected it to last longer. I can't go back to Revain. Otherwise, this is a very whimsical and perfectly sliced cheese.

I love that I have such a cutting board and wire for cheese! I've never had one and I'm having such a hard time slicing cracker cheese with a knife. It worked perfectly for the company's service!

Ordered this item to replace the solid block of marble which we received as a wedding present 28 years ago. Wash in the dishwasher before sterilizing, slice a 5lb block of cheese and put back in the dishwasher to clean. After stepping out of the dishwasher for the second time, we noticed pitting on the marble. For some people, the wires on these marble cheese slicers last longer due to the gentler use. As for me, I've cut a lot of cheese from big blocks of cheese, so the wire didn't last more than a month.
