Review on Extreme Max 3005 3726 Heavy Duty Carrier by Edwin Black

Well where do I start. They said it would fit 6 lug to 16.5 wheels. seems to be true. The bracket has 2 slots for the carriage bolts which would be nice as they don't move with the lock washers. BUT you CANNOT use both carriage bolts if you have a 6 hole wheel, the bracket itself isn't long enough so the slots don't come out far enough for the second hole on your rim. SO, down in the bottom corner is a pre-drilled hole, round, no slide. This is what I had to use to mount the spare tire to the bracket, which is inconvenient because I have to put my hand between the back of the tire and the tube it's attached to so I can wedge the wrench while I tighten the nut on the front of the wheel. The mount itself seems pretty well made, just disappointed that it is NOT designed for a 6 way wheel AND can use the carriage bolts that come with it.
