Having ordered three of these to quickly fix some machines, it was disheartening to learn that none of them were ready to work out of the box. Since we were in a situation where no electricity was available (due to an electrical problem) and classes had to start in three days, we took all three apart only to find that most of the solder joints in the transformers were cold. joints, and most of them fell apart. None of them had a bottom in the case as they all fell apart as well. After we soldered all the connections and assembled the transformers, they worked as advertised. I feel like a lot of people can't and shouldn't. Even if they came out of the box, I wouldn't trust them to be safe to use without a thorough check by opening the case (which voids any warranty).
