Since I have more than enough HDMI cables, I like this choice. The video plays in 1080P and the monitor has controls for optimal eye care and picture adjustment. This is a gaming monitor, and the response time of cinema movies and the FreeSync technology ensures smooth videos There are built-in speakers that work well as expected CONS: Monitor tilts but no vertical adjustment The workaround for me is be is to put it on an adjustable table. I have found this monitor to wake up slower than other monitors I have used. Adjusting power management is my workaround for this. The RGB lighting cannot be switched off. As they are on the back this may not be a problem for some but I have placed the monitor on a reflective background and find this distracting. They turn off during the sleep cycle. The power control button is inconveniently placed between the menu buttons. It's too easy to turn off the monitor when setting up menu buttons that aren't that easy to use. There is very little time to adjust every aspect of the menu before it closes automatically. Overall this is a very good gaming monitor that performs well and feels solid.
