I am a contractor and I am building my own house and I would never buy this product again. They are built cheap. I already had to replace a couple door knobs but have to replace several more. I now anticipate I will have to change them all over time.If you twist the handle to enter a room and it happens to be locked the interior of the knob strips out with little force. These knobs can be a safety hazard if this happens because you can get trapped in the bedroom like my son did. Good thing there wasn’t an emergency. These knobs should not be sold on the market. Spend the money and go with a better product. It was my mistake for cheapening out. I am really disappointed because I like the look of the handles but now I must replace all bedroom knobs and exterior ones. I can’t get knobs to match my closets so I will have to change those too. Ugh!
