Ideal for turning body repair tools

I use this sandpaper for turning. This is the last crumb I use to complete my projects and it just works. There's little to go into detail with sandpaper, it either does the job or it doesn't. There are a few key points that make this sandpaper better than others I've tried and not bought again, so I'll go through them: 1. The holes in the paper collect wood particles and prevent them from building up on the sanded surface. This is important, because if particles collect on the grinding surface when turning, they will scratch the surface of the wood and result in streaks in the work. Then you have to go back to the sand and remove the lines.2. It is very durable. I use this on a template that velcro attaches to my lathe to give my lathe tools a finishing edge and the other sandpaper I've used just doesn't hold up. This sandpaper will withstand multiple polishes on the tool before it needs to be replaced. I also used this sandpaper for wet sanding on a lathe. I doused it with boiled linseed oil and it worked very well. Velcro helps a lot with this, because it makes the sandpaper significantly thicker, which also prevents your fingers from burning when you press on the rotating part. The paper is perforated so there is no need to cut it with scissors. Sometimes it's the little things that make a great product. Overall, I recommend this sandpaper to anyone who needs a really strong finish paper. The only criticism of this paper is the price. It's a little expensive compared to other 800 grain rolls. But I'm crying because I've tried others and this one is the best. When you don't have to rework a project, it pays off.
