Review on 🌬️ Enhanced Airflow with Volant 12740 Cool Air Intake Kit by Paul Dye

Literally just installed it and took the truck for a test drive - so that's just my 0.02 cents. In general, the sensations were about the same as with the included AFE intake. With two notable exceptions; 1) Volant is a much quieter air intake I think since it's a closed duct system. Still retains a low hum but not as annoying when WOT. 2) I can't verify but my butt says he lost some strength with this intake. Maybe it seems to me, but the initial launch is not as fast as it is today. Maybe it will even out when the processor is recalibrated. The install wasn't bad, aside from the screws holding the airbox in place - those damn things suck! First, they're not long enough with all the extra washers (so be prepared to swear), and second, the damn box doesn't fit all the factory holes properly. That way I was able to put 2 bolts in, but it would take the Spirit of Christ to put the last one in - so it didn't go in. Overall it's a good start and good quality, well worth the money. Highly recommended.
