This set should contain two mandrels because once you have used them to drill a hole for the doorknob they CANNOT be removed by the hole saw. I've followed other reviewers' advice and taken steps to make it easier to uninstall, but it turned out to be pointless as it can't be removed and several different people have tried unsuccessfully. You can't use a 1 inch hole saw without a mandrel. Completely unacceptable. Hole saws are good quality and the jig snaps securely into place without slipping, but once you start the hole saw it eats away at the cheap plastic inside the jig. You can use it three times before it's so chewed up that it becomes unusable. Also, the mounting clip will leave marks/dents on the wooden door, so put something between it and the door to prevent that. and the fact that Dewalt makes it I certainly expected more. If you decide to buy this be sure to buy a second mandrel - you will need the DW1801 part.
