A good thing. Worked on an old RV.

I used this product to seal the corners of an old camper van. I had to replace some large rotten parts, but I was able to use the old fairing parts with new screws that were a bit longer and this tape. It is also commonly used around windows and doors. If you are not sure what it is used for. This product is similar to putty and is a "clamp seal". Your screws pull the finish against the wall panels and pinch the tape, creating a seal. It also seals the screws. I usually caulk the edges for extra protection, but that's not necessary. The seal is dirty and difficult to get out. Most people use a thin strip of plastic to fill the channel where the screws go. I used a self leveling camper roof sealer. And another sealant for vertical surfaces from the same company. It was expensive but I hope it was worth it. Seems to be holding up well. I haven't uninstalled any product yet.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
