Review on 🚘 ARKON GN079WD Replacement Windshield Dashboard Suction Mount Pedestal with 3-Inch Arm for Garmin nuvi GPS - Upgrade or Add-On by Darryl Pendall

The picture shows the arm is much longer than it really is, about 3 inches long. I needed a vertical mount for an extra rear view monitor in an RV. The horizontal mounts held the Garmin-like monitor at an odd angle. It positions the monitor very well and adjusts well. The suction cup is very sticky and really sticks to the included disc. I've had issues in the past with these black mounts getting too hot and even melting a bit when placed on a windshield or dashboard parked in the hot Texas sun. I don't know if this one will survive any better in such conditions. I would suggest removing it if not needed. If you are using a black disc, cut out a piece of round white paper and place it on top of the disc when the holder is not in use to protect it.
