The faucet I just installed does not fit. And unfortunately the last five or six I've installed either at home or as a service to others were also types it doesn't work with. It seems most new faucets are the kind this doesn't work for. But if you use the old styles this will work just fine. I like that the side cut is suitable for hoses, so it is not a problem to put it on and tighten or loosen it if necessary. I may need to find a version of this that works for those with two screws to tighten the plate, then I'm covered no matter what faucet I'm working on.
